General Purpose
A Utility Clerk is an employee who represents the company while working in an office setting in a service center and also outdoors in the field.
The core duties of this position are administrative in nature, and the applicant must demonstrate basic clerical skills, which will include keyboard proficiency, office etiquette as well as oral and written communication skills.
The determination of these qualifications will be done by test. The successful candidate is expected to progress through a two-year Company-provided training program on various computer systems and processes.
The successful candidate may also be assigned various field activities such as meter reading and working as part of a line crew.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of office and field related tasks to support day-to-day operations at an electric utility.
